Right now, Instagram Reels are a fantastic way for you to gain more visibility and grow your account. The problem is is that these short little videos can actually take a lot of time ⏱ to create. So in this video, I'm going to share with you four Instagram Reels ideas that are simple and fast and do not require any dancing 💃.

Here on this channel, I help you create a simple and efficient business; which means that we are using our tools, but we are not spending all our time creating Instagram Reels. You are busy and you have tons of other things that you need to do as an online business owner. 

Back to Basics

So this process starts when you are looking for inspiration. As I'm doing this, I'm actually going through in my mind about how long I think it's going to take me to make that specific reel. For the most part, that means that I will not be learning any dances, multiple-character-switch things, or overly-long scripts. You get the idea. So, I'd recommend that you do that same thing. As you're going through looking at trends, before you decide that you're going to save and recreate it, just think to yourself: “OK. What is really involved in creating this?” This really comes down to the fact that I think you can get just as good of results by choosing these simpler ways of doing it. 

Point the Camera at your Face and Talk

My first of my Instagram Reels ideas is to simply share valuable tips with your audience face-to-camera. This is back to basics. All you're going to do is open up your camera and share a tip. Then what you can do if you want your reel to get even more reach, is to use a trending song and add that as the background music to your tip. 

So if we open up Instagram, for example, and a song is trending right now. 

-What you're going to do is click on that sound.

-Then Use Audio.

-Then you're going to swipe up so you can upload that video tip that you've just created. 

-Click Add.

-Then you're going to click Preview.

-From here, if you click on the music icon. 

You'll see that you can adjust the volume of your camera and then the background music. In this example, I can increase my camera, reduce the background music and see how that sounds. There you go! 

So that is the first of the Instagram Reels ideas. Keep it simple. There are so many helpful things that you can share with your audience. So just grab your camera and film it! 🎥 

Text over Video

My next Instagram Reels idea for you is to simply take a video clip, upload it to your Reel, and then add some text on top of it. So for example, I am going to grab my coffee cup ☕️. I'm going to go outside on the balcony, take a quick video, and then I'm going to use that as the base. So this is super simple! All I need to do is bring this into the app and then I can use the editor within Instagram and add some text on top. Think of all the different ways that you could use this in your business. This is definitely one of the easiest and fastest Instagram Reels ideas. 

Slideshow with Synced Audio

The next idea is to just take a bunch of shots that you already have on your phone and sync them to a trending sound. Now, I thought that this was the most time consuming ones, but it turns out that it isn’t. If you do the editing within TikTok, it has an Autosync option that will do all the hard work for you. That is why this one makes my list of quick and easy!

-Once you have found the sound that you want to use in TikTok, you're just going to click Use This Sound.  🎶

-Then Upload, and you want to select all of the videos and images that you want to use all at the same time. 

-Then I'm going to click Next. What's fantastic about this is that it will already be synced up to the music. That's fantastic! 

-If you need to make any adjustments, you can just click Adjust Clip to do that. 

-Then once you are done, click Next. 

-Next again. 

-And then you're going to click where it says Select Cover. 

-From here, you can click the icon, the square icon in the top-right. This will get rid of the TikTok extras. 

-You can screen record this video and then bring it over to Instagram and upload it there. 

So yeah, much simpler than I thought this one was going to be 😎 

Short Voiceovers

And finally, the last of the Instagram Reels ideas I want to recommend to you is voiceovers, but only ones that are really short and simple. I was so shocked when I tried one the other day and realized how long it took to try and do a longer voiceover and sync up what they were saying with my mouth. It was a disaster. So this rule only applies if it's reallysimple. For example, there's one trending right now where literally all you need to do is say, “yeah”.
