5 Digital Products You Can Offer Right Now

Welcome back to my series Going Remote. In today’s video, I want to share with you some ideas for products and services that you can offer online. If you’re new here, I’m posting new videos every single day for 30 days to help you work remotely, so if you haven’t yet, make sure to hit Subscribe down below.

#1 - Create an Ebook

The first idea for digital products that you can create and sell is an ebook. This is probably one of the easiest things that you can create. I’m actually going to post a video tomorrow walking you through, step-by-step, exactly how to do it, and how to do it in a way where it looks branded and professional. This is a very simple way to take your knowledge, package it up, and make it available at an affordable rate for your audience. Stay tuned for the video on how to create it, and then, later this week, I’m also going to show you how to offer it for sale.

#2 - Coach via Zoom

The next idea for digital products is offering your coaching or services online, via Zoom. I know a lot of you have in-person businesses, and you’re wondering what you can do in order to make this work in the online world right now. For a lot of you, if you were offering an in-person service, you can simply take this and adjust it for the online world. For example, let’s say that you were offering therapy or personal training - those are services that you can simply move online.

The program that I recommend you use for this is called Zoom. It’s going to allow you to have private one-on-one consulting sessions with your clients. I have actually done a video on this already, walking you through exactly how to set this up, so I’ll leave a link for you in the description below, so you can go and watch that.

#3 - Become an Online Contractor or Virtual Assistant

The next thing you can do is take your skills that you were utilizing in your day job and turn that into an online contractor role. Many of the skills that you were utilizing in your day job are in demand right now for online positions. There are all kinds of positions available, from one-time contracts to more full-time roles. There are companies that are looking for you, and people with your skills right now.

If you feel like there’s no way that your offline work could translate to online work, then I would consider doing something completely different. In my opinion, the easiest way to start working online is to become a virtual assistant. This way you can start with simple tasks and then you can build up your skills as you go.

#4 - Offer a Template

The next idea for digital products that you could offer is a template. We all have different templates that are really useful to us that we could offer for sale. For example, you might have a design template that you use, or a spreadsheet, or a template for an essential thing in your business – for example, email templates, landing page templates, Asana templates – the list goes on. See if there is something that you are using already that you could simply package up as a template and offer for sale.

This would be a really easy one to offer for sale, as most of the work is already done. Then you just need to figure out how to accept payment for it online, which I will be doing more videos on this week.

#5 – Host Online Workshops

Finally, the last idea for digital products is to offer educational content online. It is quite easy for you to host online workshops. I’ve done a video on this, which I will also link to below. Take your knowledge and turn it into a paid workshop.

Those are my five recommendations for products and services that you could offer right now. Make sure to check out the description below, as I will link to all of the videos mentioned there.

Thank you so much for watching. If you are finding this series helpful, please share it with others you think will benefit. I’ll see you soon with another video.
