Kartra Review - The All-in-One Marketing Tool I Use to Run My Online Business

Welcome back to my channel. In today’s video, I’m talking about the online tool that I have been using for the last year that has made my life so much easier. So, what is this tool? The answer is Kartra. This is what I have been using to post my online courses, as well as so much more. I’m really excited to introduce you to this tool with my Kartra review video, and share everything that you can do with it.

In this video, I’m going to talk about what you can do with Kartra, and I’m going to share with you how I’ve been using it. I’ve also created a free roadmap, walking you through how to get started with this software. I’ll leave a link for that in the description below. If, after this video, you want to use Kartra, then make sure to grab that.

Kartra Review – The All-in-One Solution

So, what can you do with Kartra? You can host online courses and memberships, you can create sales funnels, and you can run your entire email marketing – not only your newsletters, but also setting up automated sequences as well. You can sell your products, you can add upsells and downsells, you can create landing pages and sales pages, you can have an affiliate program for your own products, and you can create timesaving automations. The fact that you can have this functionality built into just one platform is amazing. Before this, in order to achieve the same functionality, I was having to use Teachable, ConvertKit, Deadline Funnel and Samcart. Now, rather than those four, I’m only using Kartra. That simplifies things a lot and means that I don’t need to worry about software being connected properly, and the different softwares talking to each other, which can often cause problems. I still think that those softwares and companies are great - and maybe there are some instances where those will be a better fit for you - but I have really enjoyed having everything in one spot. It’s really simplified my tech life. And not just this – but it’s also saved me so much time and money as well.

Save Time And Money

There are so many hacks and tricks in there to save you a lot of time in setting up full funnels and campaigns. On top of this, it saves me money. Before I would have had to pay for Teachable, ConvertKit, Deadline Funnel and Samcart, and then worry as well about all the different softwares talking to each other and syncing up. Kartra is just $99 per month, which is savings of $215 per month - plus way less tech headlines - and having all of your data in one place as well. When I log into Kartra, I can see the lead. I can see exactly what email funnels they signed up for, what products they’ve purchased, and what pages they’ve visited – it really gives you a lot of information about each lead. Not only am I saving money, but I’ve simplified my whole online marketing and sales life as well.

You might be wondering, is this a replacement for your website? No – I don’t think that it is. You technically can create your website in Kartra, but I wouldn’t recommend it. I still recommend that you have a separate website and blog, with better SEO functionality. I personally love Squarespace, but you could use WordPress as well.

Let’s dive in to this Kartra review, and I will show you what I am using this software for.

Online Course Hosting

The first thing I use Kartra for is to host my online courses, Uplevel With Asana and Website That Wows. I love the user experience and the way that it looks. I like that it has this progress bar here at the bottom that users can use to search through the lessons. They can also favourite their favourite lessons, and they can click up here to the sitemap and get the full outline of your course.

From the creation perspective, it is nice and easy, and you have all these different options for the types of content that you can add - and it’s all drag and drop. A lot of other platforms are a lot less flexible when it comes to their membership area. You just get something like the video and download options. With this, you have so many more options. For example, at the bottom of all of my lessons, I can add this little action step block and give people their specific actions to complete for that lesson. Then, if I want to add another block, I can simply grab it and drag it into position.

You have lots of different options for how to display your online course or membership – this works for memberships as well. For example, I could choose to display Uplevel With Asana like this, a completely different design that looks really nice and modern.

Marketing Pages

The next thing I’m using Kartra for is my landing pages, so that I can build my email list, and my sales pages. What’s fantastic about Kartra is the built-in functionality of deadline timers so you can do special promotions. Here’s my sales page for Website That Wows, and I have this great FAQ according section. I’m also using Kartra for any of my wait lists, and my thank you pages as well. So, all my marketing pages are now being done within Kartra.

Checkouts

Kartra not only handles my sales pages, but it also handles all of my checkouts as well. It integrates super-easily with Stripe and Paypal. As you can see, someone just clicks this button on my sales page, this pops up a checkout form in Kartra – and all they need to do is click Continue, enter their name, email, country and state, and then they can pay via credit card or Paypal. You actually have a ton of options for how your checkout is displayed. You can do pop-up checkout forms like this, you can also embed them, or you can just send people direct to a checkout page like this. That is one of the major reasons that I love Kartra, because it is so flexible and customizable.

Email Marketing With Countdown Timers

The next thing I’m using Kartra for is for all of my email marketing - my email sequences and sales funnels. I’m also using it to build up my email list and send out regular broadcast-style emails. One of the things I love most about Kartra as a whole is the countdown functionality. Not only can I add countdown timers to my pages, but I can also add them to my emails as well. This means that the countdown timers are consistent across all of your emails and pages, and you don’t need to worry about connecting different softwares. If we scroll down here, I really like that I can add in images and buttons and make them nice and pretty.

Affiliate Programs

The next thing I’m using Kartra for is to run my entire affiliate program. I have affiliate programs for all of my products. That means that if you come and take one of my courses, you can then become an affiliate and earn 30% of all sales. This affiliate program is super-flexible. You can have specific landing pages for specific affiliates, and you can have different rates for different affiliates. There is really so much you can do with this program. It’s going to track everything for you, and you can even enable automatic payments as well.

Detailed Analytics

On top of this, you’re able to get a ton of analytics about your business, and you can really get very specific here and get detailed information into how each individual page, form or product is performing.

I have barely scratched the surface in this Kartra review in terms of what you can do with Kartra. You can also host your videos, book appointments, and have your own helpdesk for your products.

Links From Your Website to Kartra

Before I wrap up, I just want to talk about how this links in with your website. For example, this is my website on Squarespace. As you can see, I have my free roadmaps, so what you can do is when someone clicks a button or link, you can simply link out to one of your landing pages in Kartra. You can also actually embed forms directly. For example, in my footer here, I have a button you can click on that pops up a Kartra form. I do that in a few places. Also, in my blog posts, I just have an embedded form like this. This is all Kartra, so I’m building my list and sending my leads over to Kartra.

So that’s my Kartra review. It’s not a perfect software – but no software is. I haven’t come across the perfect software yet, but I love it, and it is going to save you so much time and money, and really help you grow your online business. I love all of the functionality that is built in, and I also prefer the user experience to other platforms. There are a few more advanced tricks which I’ll be sharing in upcoming videos that really makes this software a winner for me.

Don’t forget to get my free Kartra roadmap to help you get set up. On top of this, I have decided, because I love this software and because it’s made such a huge difference in my business, that I am going to be creating a course on it. I really love doing a video series - my last one was 30 Videos in 30 Days. My next series is going to be about creating an online course. I’m going to document the process, and I’m going to bring you along with me as I bring this online course to life. I know there are a lot of you that want to create your own online course or membership, so I think this will be really valuable for you.
